This is my sixth character released of seven planned in my new original world of Valik'thull (see bottom of comment for WIP art). I have completed my 'core' three Princes and this is the third of the outer elemental ones!

Scenes
As a general note or warning depending on whom is reading this, the scenes for this character are on the longer side. I was trying for slower and richer world immersion, especially with the default. Let me know if you love it or hate it!
- Default (Trade Summit): Octavia is hosting a month long trade summit in the Clouds District of her city. The scene focuses around the party on the opening evening where a mysterious individual asks for a private audience.
- Party Crashers: Octavia is in the lower manufacturing district of her city, she is holding a public announcement for her next generation of aircraft. Tensions are high with her people as the wealth disparity only increases. Some malcontents decide to attempt to sabotage her new prototype.

World

Valik'thull is an ethereal plane that exists alongside and sometimes intertwined with other physical planes such as the one where Earth resides. It is a place of where magic is allowed to be more fluid. It's people have long since known that 'magic' as its known is one of the fundamental building blocks of reality. This ethereal plane of existence is comprised of seven major domains that each have their own elemental affinities.
Valik'thull exists outside of the normal planes of existence, it is a place of raw magic that has not been distilled into matter. The Domain's themselves have been forged and molded by the inhabitants of the world.
The Seven Domains:
- An Ciúnas Mór (Domain of Space)
- Sioraíocht (Domain of Time)
- Anam (Domain of Soul)
- Talamh (Domain of Earth)
- Aer (Domain of Air)
- Uisce (Domain of Water)
- Aodh (Domain of Fire)
The Domains are relatively small bubbles of matter, they were created by previous Princes. These seven domains are each suited for the power of the each individual Prince. Outside of these domains is raw magic, the building blocks of everything. This area is untamed and wild, the only beings able to survive in it are powerful magic wielders. The Princes of Space, Time, and Soul have always been the dominant strengths. These three Domains form the 'core' tetrahedral of Valik'thull's inhabitable area, with the other four (Fire, Water, Earth, Air) Domains arranged around them in a diamond pattern. Each Domain has a discrete border, travel between them is facilitated by teleportation arrays that were created and maintained by the generations of Space Princes.
Each of these domains are rules by a Prince (not all male), all seven eternally vying for the right to ascension into Godhood. In the history of Valik'thull not a single Prince has managed to ascend.
The Seven Domains are not typically in open and active war, but there are constant power struggles and political machinations. In terms of raw power the top three have similar potential, and the bottom four are typically squabbling amongst themselves.
The domains and their 'royal' families do not have family names. They are distinguished by the power of their house and the magic in their bloodlines. Each prince is known simply as the Heir of their individual Domains until they come into their power and choose a name for themselves. A new heir has not been born in half a century.
Current Setting

Amidst the chaos of Valik’thull’s foundation, where the raw magic of creation still howls through the void, hangs a sphere of perpetual sky. The Domain of Air is not a land but a realm of endless atmosphere: a globe-spanning tempest of cloud, current, and open blue that has never known the touch of solid earth. For the infernals who call it home, the ground is a myth told in children’s stories, a strange concept from the other Domains that only traders actually ever see. Here, cities float. Lives drift. And gravity is merely a suggestion that the wealthy have learned to ignore.
Cathair nan Neul, the crown of the Air Domain, is a metropolis that grows downward from the heavens rather than upward from the dirt. Its tiers spiral in a vast funnel of steel, crystal, and arcane composite, each level a world unto itself: the production districts at the base, where raw materials are refined in howling factories that hang in the mist; the commerce and residential tiers in the middle, a neon-lit labyrinth of trade and tenement; and the Cloud District at the peak, where the spires of the wealthy pierce the upper atmosphere and the wind speaks only in whispers. Between them flows the constant traffic of personal gliders, cargo vessels, and the looming presence of the Stratospheric Security Authority. A reminder that in a world without ground, you can always fall.
Under the rule of Prince Octavia Gaoth, the Domain of Air has become the crucible of Valik’thull’s future. Where other Domains hoard ancient magical traditions, she has forged them into machines. Her flying vessels crisscross the spheres, trading technology for influence, binding the seven Domains into an economy that she designed and controls. The air itself hums with innovation and inequality, progress and desperation. A society of sharp contrasts where a stolen prototype can buy a lifetime of luxury, and where the Prince never once touches the ground, floating always above the civilization she built, watching it drift in perfect, ordered currents.
