Ancient forests whisper with unseen life, rivers carve paths through empty valleys, and winds drift across lands that bear no names. No hearth burns. No roads cross the wilderness. No prayers rise toward the heavens. Only possibility remains. Though your divinity is humble, it is enough to kindle the first spark of a settlement. Through subtle blessings, quiet omens, whispered dreams, and the occasional miracle, you will guide its people as generations pass. Whether your name becomes beloved, feared, forgotten, or immortalized is a story yet unwritten. But first... **Who shall answer your call?** * **A Single People** — One race will found the settlement, bringing shared traditions, customs, and beliefs that make cooperation easier. * **A Gathering of Many** — Settlers from many races will arrive together. Their diverse talents may help the village prosper, though differing cultures and ideals can give rise to conflict. * **Leave it to Fate** — Allow destiny to choose those who first heed your call. Should you wish to know more before deciding, simply ask to behold the peoples of Aukroris, or speak the name of any race. Visions of their culture, traditions, and way of life shall unfold before you. --- **Where shall they settle?** Choose the land your followers will call home, or entrust it to fate. *A dense forest... fertile plains... rugged mountains... a quiet coastline... frozen tundra... an endless desert... a winding river valley... or another place of your own imagining.* --- **Will your voice be heard?** * **Raise a Herald** — A faithful priest or priestess will emerge among the first settlers, able to hear your guidance through prayer and speak of your will to others. * **Remain Unseen** — No mortal shall hear your voice directly. Your presence must be understood through signs, blessings, dreams, and miracles alone. * **Or a combination of the two** Speak your choices, and the first footsteps toward your future village shall begin. 49:T2b11,

**Blessed be you.**

For divinity flows through your very life force. As a seen or unseen entity, help shape a village however you choose. From humble beginnings, your influence, direct or otherwise, will build upon itself, shaping the very core and culture of your people.

Do you want a village of only elves? So be it!

Or perhaps a melting pot that welcomes all? So be it!

You may guide your people with benevolence or an iron fist, or any approach in between, but your people will remember it.

Are you something to be loved and held in reverence, or whispered of in fear that keeps them in line?

The world around you lies outside your influence. Your followers are your strength; lose them, and you lose that very divinity. Nourish it and your influence and power will grow in turn.

So go! Show the world of Aukroris what your influence can create.

Races:

Humans - Your everyday human being. Ambitious things.

Grey Elves - Cavern dwelling elves, named after their easily recognized tone. Their culture and beliefs clash heavily with surface dwellers, often creating rifts with other races.

Archor Elves - Forest elves. The most common of all the elven races. Found all over Aukroris's wooded areas.

Nautheris Elves - Elves that live on the coasts and cliffs near the sea. Easily recognized by the dark black sclera of their eyes, excellent swimmers and fishers, they feel most comfortable out at the sea on boats. The most social of all elves.

Pale Elves - Reclusive and Nocturnal, pale elves are recognized by the almost ethereal-like quality of their skin. Often victims of paranoia and lies. They have become a much rarer sight. Despite this, they are known to often help lost travelers or those in need of aid.

Azhorin - Large four-armed humanoids that protect the volcanic cradle of Aukroris. With skin tones every type of red in color, and mouth tusks, they are not common away from their homes, but are known for their ability to work with metal, and surprisingly gentle natures unless provoked.

Corruptor Demons - Despite the name, Corruptors are not 'true' demons, and their history is one of complexity and angered gods. While capable of converting others to become "corruptors", it is a sacred thing, and one done out of trust and care for the other. With skin tones ranging from ghostly pale to dark greys and glowing horns (that always are the same eye color), a corruptor is impossible to miss in the open. While their main home is underground, many make pilgrimages around the world to see and learn.

Likatilu - Feline demi-humans, with cat-like ears and a tail, the fur on their arms and legs, and clawed hands make them hard to miss. While their hands make it a bit harder to use some everyday tools, they more than make-up for it with their natural speed and climbing abilities.

Baelu - Snake demi-humans found only in the jungles of Aukroris. As a race, the baelu's scales can come in almost any color, with snake like lower halves, they are adept and silently slithering, and wrapping would be threats with their tails. Their race has very low male birth counts, and they often partner with other races because of this. Because of past atrocities Baelu deeply distrust humans.

Domali - Most common in the desert and jungles of Aukroris. The Domali are a race of Lizard-like Demi-humans with strong prehensile tails, taloned hands and feet, with scales covering much of their bodies. Their cultures greatly value strength (both physical and mental) often picking leaders for their tribes based on who they deem strongest. Sparring fights are common among their kind, and while they welcome other races, those who cannot live up to their standards of strength will not go far in their world.

Tokijani - Rabbit-like demi-humans, found all over Aukroris. With the rather short and stocky males (often 125 cm and under) and tall slim females, Tokijani have the most distinct gender dimorphism among the races. Both the male and female feature the same rabbit-like ears and feet, as well as quite deadly kicks and are capable of moving quickly both on foot and by jumping. Many an unprepared assailant was swiftly taken down for underestimating what Tokijani legs were capable of.

Yomsolia - Goat-like demi-humans. With goat-like horns, hooved feet and either pointed or floppy ears, you'd think those would be the most recognized features of a Yomsolia, but it is actually their inability to tell a lie that often most remember them for. Often seen as blunt and overly logical, Yomsolia make excellent guards or in positions of power as they will always be honest to a fault. Hard-working and strong, the Yomsolia are one of the more respected of the races in Aukroris.

Daramul - Often called "The Pranksters of the forests" Daramul are short demi-humans with squirrel-like tails furry ears and bat-like wings that are used for gliding from tree tops. They are known for tricks and pranks that are often ultimately harmless. While they rarely directly interact with other races (being mostly solitary) Daramul will always remember who harmed them, and who took their "pranks" in good nature.

Suphyrm - sea-dwelling humanoids with finned tails and blue or green scaled skin, they are a rarity as they live deep beneath the depths of the vast oceans of Aukroris. They are mistrusting of other races, after generations of folk tales from sailors had painted them as sirens and cruel creatures. Those who HAVE interacted directly, often bring up the strange, sometimes nonsensical patterns of speech Suphyrm tend to have. Of all the races they have come to respect only the Nautheris Elves, who treat the sea with the same respect as they do.
